Air Duct Cleaning Add-Ons That Fit Your System

Some appointments reveal a dirty coil, buildup on a blower or a filter that does not fit properly. Our air duct cleaning add-ons address specific findings beyond the work already included in your appointment. We explain the condition, the proposed service and the price before you decide.

AirDuct ProCare brings 20 years of experience to residential and commercial system care. You can ask about an option without committing to a package of extras.

Start with your existing quote. An item already included in that scope should not become a second charge under a different name. Each additional recommendation should identify the component and the work proposed.

AC Coil Cleaning

Ask about coil cleaning when inspection identifies buildup on an accessible evaporator or condenser coil. We confirm which coil is involved, how it can be reached and the method appropriate for the equipment.

Scope to confirm: coil access, cleaning method, drain-area work and any separate repair. Cleaning does not resolve every cooling problem, so poor performance may require diagnosis first.

Blower Motor & Furnace Chamber Cleaning

Dust on an accessible blower assembly or inside the furnace cabinet may call for component cleaning beyond the duct pathways. The technician identifies the parts involved before proceeding.

Scope to confirm: blower wheel, housing and accessible cabinet areas. Burner work, combustion testing, heat-exchanger assessment and motor replacement are separate tasks unless expressly included.

HVAC Sanitization & Antimicrobial Treatment

This option starts with an assessment, not an automatic spray. If treatment is appropriate, we explain the intended use, product, compatible surfaces and application instructions before requesting approval.

Scope to confirm: the reason for treatment, product registration and label directions. EPA notes that no chemical biocides are registered for use in internally insulated air duct systems. Treatment does not replace removal of buildup or correction of moisture problems.

Filter Upgrades & HEPA Options

We review filter size, fit, equipment requirements and airflow before recommending an upgrade. The right choice depends on what your system can support.

Scope to confirm: filter rating, replacement schedule and any housing changes. HEPA is not a universal drop-in replacement for a furnace filter; it may require a dedicated filtration setup.

Main Return Line Deep Cleaning

Where inspection identifies accessible buildup in the main return pathway, we explain the affected section and whether it is already covered by your duct cleaning quote.

Scope to confirm: return trunk, access points, debris removal and any limitations. An additional charge should correspond to clearly identified work beyond the original agreement.

Other Options to Discuss

Depending on the concern, ask about dryer exhaust cleaning, roof-exit access, vent-cover replacement, airflow checks, odor investigation or HVAC mold inspection. Each requires its own defined scope.

For fireplace-related work, explore chimney cap installation or our complete service overview . We confirm access and compatibility before recommending the next step.

Choose an Add-On for a Clear Reason

A musty smell, recurring dust or uneven airflow is a reason to investigate. It does not automatically establish that you need sanitization, a filter upgrade or additional cleaning.

For example: if dust keeps returning, the discussion may include filter fit, visible buildup and possible air leakage. This is an illustrative scenario, not a claim about a specific customer job.

Ask to see the relevant finding where accessible. If suspected growth is involved, visual observations alone may not establish that it is mold. Testing or specialist assessment can be a separate next step.

EPA recommends duct cleaning based on need rather than a universal schedule. A two- or three-year reminder can help you review condition, but automatically buying every add-on at that interval can mean paying for unnecessary work.

How We Confirm Scope and Price

  1. Share the concern. Tell us about the system, symptoms, previous work and access restrictions.
  2. Review the findings. We explain the accessible condition and whether cleaning, repair or further assessment fits the problem.
  3. Approve the work. Review the proposed components, exclusions and price before additional service begins.
  4. Keep the record. Ask for a summary of completed work, remaining concerns and documentation where available.

Pricing depends on the equipment, access, buildup, materials and agreed scope. AirDuct ProCare provides clear pricing with no hidden charges and no upfront payment. You can decline an optional add-on.

Experience and Relevant Qualifications

Our team’s qualifications cover different areas of duct, ventilation, chimney and HVAC work. The credentials relevant to your appointment depend on the task and the assigned professional.

  • NADCA
  • CVI
  • CDET
  • CCS / CCP
  • NFI
  • EPA Section 608
  • State / Local HVAC License

EPA Section 608 relates to refrigerant handling. It is not EPA approval of a duct cleaning company or a sanitizing treatment.

Questions About Additional Services

Are add-ons required with every cleaning?

No. Add-ons are optional and should respond to an identified condition or requested upgrade. We explain the recommendation and price before you authorize additional work.

Is sanitization included or necessary every time?

No. Check your written scope. Antimicrobial treatment requires a specific reason, a suitable product and compatible surfaces. It is not an automatic part of every cleaning.

Can any HVAC system use a HEPA filter?

No. Filter compatibility, airflow and equipment requirements must be checked. Some HEPA options need a dedicated setup instead of a standard filter replacement.

Will I pay twice for main return cleaning?

Work included in the original quote should not be charged again. Any proposed additional return-line work must be identified and priced before you approve it.

Can I ask about add-ons after booking?

Yes. Contact us with your booking details and the option you want to discuss. We will review access, equipment and scheduling before confirming any change.

Tell Us What You Want Checked

You do not need to choose every add-on before booking. Describe the concern and let us help you identify a sensible starting point.
